Markus Bamert

Mr. Bamert is President and co-Founder of Lenox Capital AG. He serves as Portfolio Manager of the company and is actively involved in managing the firm. Mr. Bamert has more than 30 years of investment experience.
Prior to co-founding Lenox Capital AG, Mr. Bamert worked for 6 years as Chief Investment Officer at a family office in Zurich. Before joining the family office, Mr. Bamert was Senior Trust Officer and Portfolio Manager responsible for running investment portfolios for equities, fixed income and fund of funds at BBVA, New York. From 1976 to 1988, Mr. Bamert worked at Volkart Holding AG (Winterthur, New York, Pasadena, San José – Costa Rica) where he gained extensive knowledge of risk control and recognition of the importance thereof in the commodity trading business.
Mr. Bamert completed an apprenticeship at Schweizerische Volksbank and holds Federal Certificate for Commercial Employees.
